Our Mission:

To “honor the dead by helping the living” through veterans’ service, community service, national security and a strong national defense…
To perpetuate the memory and history of the dead and assist and honor their families, in addition to worthy brothers-in-arms…
To maintain true allegiance to the institution of the Government of the United States of America and fidelity to its Constitution as intended by its creators…
To foster true patriotism and to maintain, support, and extend the institutions of American freedom…
And to preserve and defend the United States of America from all Her enemies, in our homeland and abroad.

Our Family:

We are a family of the community, local and abroad.  Our members and guests come from all over the country.  Our members have served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Operation Desert Storm, and in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Some tell stories and some just listen to others’ stories.  No matter where you are from or where you have been, the family here at Texas VFW Post 6111 proudly welcomes you with open arms, an open heart, and great big Texas “Howdy Y’all!”
